Another day in Washington....!

As some of you may know today started on the wrong side of the bed..lol. We were faced with the facts of the government shutdown and what if would do to our family. Brandon checked his LES (leaving and earning statement) to see if anything had been affected..and it had we were only supposed to be getting half of his pay..not enough to make ends meet! We started calling some creditors to let them know about the shutdown and we got a nasty answer from our car insurance place, they told us that we would only have ins though the end of the month because we would not have the money to pay them....my question to them is what am i supposed to do about that..?
On a better note we took Hunter to a place called Jumping Jacks, it has all inflatable toys, he had a blast. Brandon and I had to take Hunter though all the stuff for the first time..we were a little big for most!! All he can talk about now is that he went bouncing and how badly he wants to go back. Some of our good friends is possiably having her sons birthday party there in a few weeks and he is so excited to go back!

This evening came more good news. There is not going to be a government shutdown. THANK GOD!! They did make a deal its not final yet it still needs to be on paper and voted on. If they pass this we won't have problems until the end of the furlo year which for us is October 1st. Lets all hope that we don't have to go though this again!
Brandon has also been playing around with his RC car and pulling Hunter around. I have posted a video for everyone to watch! Hunter really loves it, we have to hide the RC car otherwise he asks all the time if we can pull him around!
Well i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! We will be enjoying nice sunny weather!!

Washington!!!

So as i have found another Army wife posting on a blog i thought i would be a great idea for everyone to know and see what we are up to here in Washington! Well we have been here since October (5 months) and we are loving it so far!!
We had a very short winter if you could actually call what we got winter. It only snowed 3 times this year with a total of proabably only 3 inches!! As some of you know my mom, sister and neice spent Christmas out here with us this year and it was a blast! We went to the Point Defience Zoo to see the Zoolights and it was very cool, Maddie and Hunter both enjoyed the indoor carousel more than seeing the lights!
We are living in Puyallup a town about 15-20 mins away from JBLM (Joint Base Lewis McCord). It's very hilly here but its beautiful! We are renting a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment which is to small but that my changes this Ocother, we are deciding weather we want to move on post or not. We would be living in a 3 bedroom house on post, with alot more space!
Brandon just got back last Thursday from Fort Irwin in Southern California for a 30 day training. The training is called NTC and it is a pre-deployment training, his whole unit was there supporting a unit out of Alaska which is deploying soon. He said it was boring and the weather wasn't very nice. He also found out that he has to go back in November because they will be deploying next year sometime.
Hunter is growing so fast its crazy! I can't believe that he will be 3 this year! We are planning on taking him to a indoor water park for my birthday and on a train ride around Mt. Rainier for his. I think he will really like both of those! He has sure become a little fish lately, we try and go swimming every friday on base. They have a very nice pool that has indoor slides...only one that is small enough for him and he loves it! We still have our dog Nikkita and i am very thankful that we have her here, she is my protector! We also got a cat in November named Zuki, Hunter loves her to death!
We are heading out to The Ram restuarant in Tacoma right on the Pudget Sound for dinner with some great friends this weekend and next weekend we are hosting a St. Patricks day party! I love all this warm weather so that we can be out and about! This year Brandon and I will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary..i know crazy right!..not sure what we will be doing but i hope to get away with the family for a weekend. There is SO much to do out here i don't know where to start! We want to go camping on the Coast for a weekend this summer, my list could go on and on. I will keep everyone posted on all of our new and exciting adventures!!
